Working with kids is fun because they like to have fun. They’re not “too cool for school” like high school students. They’re not grumpy or overwhelmed by life like so many adults. Kids laugh, play, imagine, and get silly. Kids love to play games and be interactive.
Working with kids is fun because it reminds us every day to be more like them. Kids teach us to enjoy life and the simplest of moments. Just blow some bubbles or give them a balloon and watch their eyes light up. So much of life is still new to them and every day is an adventure. We can learn a lot from their mindset.
Working with kids is fun because we are making an eternal impact. Revivalist D.L. Moody at the end of his life said, "If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God!" I could not agree more! We are devoting our lives to reaching children and there is no more rewarding job in the world.
